Vascular Conditions

Carotid Disease

The carotid arteries are the major blood vessels in the neck that supply oxygen-rich blood to the brain. When these arteries become narrowed or blocked by cholesterol buildup (plaques) or blood clots, it can lead to a stroke or a TIA (transient ischemic attack), also known as a mini-stroke.

Peripheral Vascular Disease

Artery blockages can occur outside the heart, particularly in the legs, and often lead to symptoms such as cramping or pain during walking. This condition may be due to Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD), a common circulatory problem where narrowed arteries reduce blood flow to the limbs.
