Interventional Cardiologist

Dr. Karthik Anand, has proudly called Tarrant County home for over a decade. After completing his Internal Medicine residency and General Cardiology fellowship in Fort Worth, he pursued advanced training under the mentorship of pioneers in Interventional Cardiology at The Heart Hospital Baylor Plano, one of the leading cardiovascular programs in the nation.

With a strong foundation in clinical training and a deep commitment to his community, Dr. Anand together with his team at Texas Heart & Vascular Institute (THVI)—is dedicated to provide evidence based and patient-centered care. His approach combines compassion, innovation, and the latest advancements in cardiovascular medicine to ensure the best possible outcomes for every patient he serves.

It was very comfortable. Sign in was very quick and everyone was very friendly. I was told what everyone was doing from checking in to checking out. The nurse, the tech who did the ekg, and front desk ladies were out standing. The Cardiologist, Dr. Gateway excellent as well. Very relaxed and not in a big rush. Dr Anand and his entire staff are very professional and courteous. Dr Anand listened carefully to my husbands symptoms and with those and his heart history had him schedule going to cath lab where he found blockage and inserted a stent. On follow up visit he took the time to explain everything and answer all of our questions. He is a great doctor and we are very grateful to him and his staff.
